One of the secret hacks to managing and motivating your team is discovering & using each person’s motivating contribution in a meeting.

Think about it:

  • Someone with Conceptualizing in their Giftedness Report isn’t “overthinking” when they start brainstorming. They’re protecting the vision.

  • Someone with Process in their Giftedness Report isn’t “pessimistic” when they poke holes in the ideas. They’re making sure the wheels don’t fall off mid-journey and that the finished product is functions.

So here’s the million-dollar question:

👉 What’s your unique contribution in a meeting?

👉 And do you know the contributions of the people sitting around you?

Your Giftedness Report reveals this information with a fine-toothed comb, solving your communication problems and literally making meetings way faster, easier, and more effective. So that there’s much less hidden “eye-rolls.”

So to make your meetings turn from a headache to a fast, enjoyable power session, reach out to us. We’ll get you there.

My Personal Experience Overcoming This

I used to think, “Well my job is ________________ so I will feel successful if I just provide that required information.”

But now that I know my Giftedness Report™ has the phrase “to discern through concepts” in it, I realize that I’ve always loved being the guy who gets to provide unique insights or new ideas. I love being asked, “What do you think? Are we missing anything?” My mind was already filled with answers to that, but felt suffocated without being asked.

And I’m not quite satisfied until I get to bring those unique strengths to the table (this is why I fit better in a Visionary seat than I do a Coordinator/Worker Bee seat). When we have the opportunity exercise these special contributions, we instantly become more motivated to perform higher and stay more loyal to our bosses.

I would be either your biggest frustration or greatest complement if your Giftedness Report™ showed more about “stop talking and start mobilizing.” You won’t understand why I’m pausing to think about things a little longer.

At this point, instead of clashing with my coworker about that, it actually turns back to my responsibility to communicate why I’m in my conceptualizing wheelhouse. This will help my colleagues understand where I’m going, why I'm going there, and create synergy.

When you know the Giftedness Report™ of each person around the table and, specifically, their “unique contributions to meetings” based on them, then you just saved your company hours of wasted salary time & created a platform for additional innovation as everyone gets to contribute meaningfully.

Reach out to us today if you want your meetings to lean more into an enjoyable power session.
